You didn’t think we closed up our office for summer break just to sit at home, did you? Frequent flier miles were burning a whole in our pocket as well as a hankering to see good friends in a faraway place.
I hope to blog about our journey if/when things slow down in a few weeks (or months).
We shot Lora and Nathan’s wedding right before our summer break. Lora knew in advance that we’d be breaking and her photo preview would take just a bit longer. I’m posting a quick preview for the two of them. You see, Lora dabbles in photography, so I know she must be anxious to see some images from her big day. Here’s one that caught my eye today. Summer break is over and we are picking up where we left off. Lots of editing, emails and sessions to come. As much as I love my work, email, blogs, smart phone, and facebook; time away from technology is always so refreshing.
The photo below is from my childhood album. I used to pretend to work in an office. I thought it would be super cool to work in a place where I could put my feet on the desk. Oh the dreams of a little girl. As I sit and work at my desk today, the picture isn’t quite the same. I’ve found I’m more productive with my feet on the floor.

You have no idea what kind words we often receive via email after a session, print delivery or wedding day. I thought I’d share a few of them with you.
Well I’ve watched the slide show of the pictures, oh say, 50 times already. Will you just spend everyday with us and take pictures ALL THE TIME? Ha! I forget how fun it is to have professional pictures done, haven’t had them done since our wedding!

THANK YOU! We LOVED them so much. I’ve gotten a ba-zillion comments in email and texts and facebook messages that comment on what amazing pictures we have. LOVE THEM SO SO SO SO MUCH. A day that flew by for us in a blink of an eye, you’ve captured so we can re-live EVERY MOMENT over and over. So that we’ll be able to remember all the details and hard work we put into that day to make our dreams come TRUE!! Those sneak peek pictures are EXACTLY what I always DREAMED my wedding pictures would look like and I haven’t even really seen them all yet! I can not wait.
