I met Cate and Cassy at swim lessons and we became fast friends. I was excited when Cassy asked me to document a morning with them, as well as Cate’s 18-month milestone.
Miss Cate feeds ducks and goes for walks in the neighborhood everyday. Capturing everyday life is so special.

WHEW!!! The last weeks have been a whirlwind for us. We have news to share with each of you.
First of all, we are beyond excited to add Unruh baby 2.0 to our family!
The expected arrival is at the end of October. For those of you who like to get technical, that means I am 14 weeks.
Secondly, we are moving!
Yes, you read that correctly. The two of us are proud Wichitans who never imagined calling anywhere else home. Many of you know, Unruh Photography has been my fulltime job over the years. Derrick helps me when I need it while maintaining a full-time job. Well, an opportunity presented itself and we decided to take it. We need to be in Kansas City, Missouri, for employment by July 1.
How’s that for some heavy blog announcing?
What does that mean for Unruh Photography? (I should really count how many people have asked me that already!)
Our answer: we simply do not know. For now, my family of three (almost four) is my main priority. This business and all future sessions are on hold effective immediately.
This is what we do know: this business in Wichita has been incredible. We have met SO many people who have truly become friends. We have had the best clients over the years and we are grateful. Truly grateful.
